Sally Lehrman is an award-winning medical and science reporter whose byline credits include Scientific American, Nature, Health, The Boston Globe and Salon.com. She has served as science content editor for The DNA Files from the beginning.

Sally teaches science, medical and feature writing in university and private settings. Her work in journalism has won many honors, and in 1995–1996 she was awarded a John S. Knight Fellowship at Stanford University. She is also a USC Annenberg Institute for Justice and Journalism Expert Fellow, serves as national diversity chair and at-large director for the Society for Professional Journalists, and is active in several organizations that promote diversity in the media.
